DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a spine-chilling experience at the 2024 St. Albans Haunted Trail\, hosted at the St. Albans City Park Nature Trail. This annual favorite returns for two weekends of terrifying fun on October 11-12 and October 18-19 (Friday & Saturday nights)\, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or simply looking for a hauntingly good time\, this event promises something for everyone. \nHaunted Trail Main Event Details:\n\nDates: October 11-12\, and 18-19\, 2024 (Friday & Saturday nights)\nTime: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM\nLocation: St. Albans City Park Nature Trail\, 931 Observatory Drive\, St. Albans\, WV\nAdmission: $5 for the Haunted Trail; Free admission to nightly movies and other activities; Belly dancing class is $10\nParking: Free parking at St. Albans City Park\nHayrides: Complimentary hayrides from the parking lot to the Haunted Trail entrance\nPhoto Booth:  The St. Albans On-Purpose Project will have a free photo booth to capture the scares in memorable photos.\n\nTake a guided tour through the eerie twists and turns of the Nature Trail as darkness falls\, and encounter bone-chilling surprises at every corner. The trail is perfect for families and groups\, offering an immersive and frightening experience through the heart of St. Albans’ wooded terrain. \nWhat to Expect Nightly:\nEach night will feature an array of spooktacular activities to keep guests entertained as they wait for their tour through the Haunted Trail: \n\nFree Movies: Enjoy a classic Halloween movie while you wait in line!\nContests: Participate in our exciting nightly contests and win fun prizes!\nConcessions: Grab snacks and drinks from a variety of food trucks and vendors.\n\nMoon Lit Tales & Haunted Trails Experience (October 11-12 Only)\nJoin us on October 11th & 12th for a unique storytelling and interactive mystery experience with local author London Blue. From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM\, guests will have the chance to: \n\nSolve a thrilling mystery along the nature trail and win a prize\nGroove to Halloween music by DJ Jay\nTake selfies with the iconic Purple Hearse and the towering 12-foot Spider\nJoin our nightly costume parade at 6:00 PM\nParticipate in a belly dancing class at 6:30 PM ($10 per person)\nMarvel at the fire dances by the Appalachian Spider Witch at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM\nShop from over 40 vendors and food trucks offering a wide range of spooky goods and delicious treats\n\nAdditional Information about the 2024 St. Albans Haunted Trail:\n\nAdmission: The Haunted Trail costs just $5 per person\, while the Moon Lit Tales and its various activities are free.
